My friend is causing me anxiety, what should I do?

At first it was really nice and It felt like all the feelings had vanished but the past few days the anxiety and jealousy has been creeping in again and I don't want to go down the same path as before.

I took a few days to give her an answer as I wasn't sure it was a good idea, but I did regret how it had ended so I complied in the end.

A couple of weeks ago I received a call from her telling me she missed me and that could we please try talking again.

Eventually everything went south and we stopped talking for a few months after a big argument, I was upset it ended that way for a while but after a few weeks I was back to myself.

I felt trapped and at this stage I think she noticed how negative I'd become and started to message me a lot less, act very cold etc which hurt.
