It would not have taken them 4 hours to find a taxi, there are always lots of them hanging around the town on a Saturday night.

The meal shouldn't have taken longer than 2 hours and they may have gone for a drink afterwards but my mum would only go to bars like cocktail and wine bars, not clubs, most of these bars in my town close at 12pm, that was almost 4 hours ago.

My mum went out for a meal with her boyfriend at 7:30pm last night, she said she wouldn't be in late but it's almost 4 in the morning.
